Surrey Scorchers is delighted to announce the re-signing of Jordan Williams for the 2018/19 BBL Championship season.
Williams originally signed for Scorchers in January 2016 and has represented Scorchers in three consecutive seasons.
Joining up with the squad in November of the 2017/18 season, he made an instant impact with a string of impressive performances.
In 2017/18 he averaged 9.79 points-per-game and 7.04 rebounds-per-game and became an integral part of Creon Raftopoulos’ squad.
“He’s a British talent that continues to improve season after season.” Said Raftopoulos.
“The fact he gets to start a full season with us is a positive for both him and club and I expect him to have his best season yet in a Scorchers jersey.”
With Josh Steel, Quincy Taylor and Tayo Ogedengbe all returning for Scorchers in 2018/19 along with US import Demario Beck, Scorchers are shaping up for a big season at Surrey Sports Park.
They open the new campaign on Saturday 22nd September as Glasgow Rocks visit Surrey Sports Park.
