SURREY SCORCHERS 92-65 LEEDS FORCE

Jordan Williams finished with a double-double as Scorchers cruised to a 27-point victory against the Leeds Force.

The forward finished with 19 points and 11 rebounds as his array of dunks stole the show in front of the BBC cameras.

The win was never in doubt as the Scorchers pulled away to a double digit lead in the first quarter and lead by 20 at the half-time interval.

Tayo Ogedengbe followed-up Williams with 15 points as five players finished in double figures, and the entire roster on the scoresheet.

Williams set the tone for the game with an impressive scoring display as the Scorchers lead 26-19 after the opening ten minutes.

The scoring barrage continued in the second quarter thanks to impressive performances off the bench from Josh Steel and Caylin Raftopoulos.

Scorchers won the quarter by 13 to head into the break with a comfortable 54-34 lead.Leeds came out fighting in the second half with Tavarion Nix trying to force a comeback, but Scorchers maintained their 20-point lead through the third quarter.

The game was all but over by the fourth quarter as the Scorchers extended their lead by a further seven points on their way to a comfortable 27-point victory.

The victory moves the Scorchers into the top four of the BBL Standings.
