Abdul Mohammed

Canadian swingman Abdul Mohammed is set to make his first appearance in the British Basketball League as he joins Surrey Scorchers roster for the 2023/24 season.

The swingman joins from German Pro-A side Bayer Giants Leverkusen, where he averaged 5.8 points per game.

During his three collegiate seasons, whilst studying at the University of North Texas, Mohamed averaged 6.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.2 assists, while shooting 45.5 percent from the field and 42.3 percent from the three-point line.

Standing at 6ft 7’’, Scorchers’ new swingman then went on to play for Montana State University in 2020 before he returned to Canada and made his professional debut with Montreal Alliance at the start of 2022.
