Surrey Scorchers 93 Bristol Flyers 87

Scorchers pick up their first win in the BBL Championship with a fantastic performance against the Bristol Flyers.

New signing Lovell Cook electrified the Scorchers crowd with 22 points and captain Tayo Ogedengbe dropped 18 to help the team get off the mark.

Scorchers looked re-energized after a difficult night in Worcester, and contested basket-for-basket with the Flyers.

Skyler White got us off the mark with a triple and continued to hustle hard through the first quarter.

Bristol rallied in the second quarter and headed into the break with an 11 point lead.

But Scorchers didn’t lie down, and Lovell Cook and the team battled back and won the third quarter by a single point.

An extraordinary fourth quarter fell in Scorchers favour as a flurry of three-pointers gave Creon’s side a massive win!

Join us again on December 20th as we host Cheshire Phoenix!
