Surrey Scorchers secured a dramatic 96-94 win against the Manchester Giants in the BBL Championship.
Scorchers led for much of the game before a late comeback from Giants saw a nervy finish.
Tony Hicks top-scored for Scorchers with 33 points while Jordan Whelan top-scored for Giants with 29 points.
It was Hicks who held his nerve late on confirming Scorchers 10th win of 2018.
Scorchers, who were without Head Coach Creon Raftopoulos due to personal reasons, were lead by Steve Crane for the evening.
Leading 74-61 heading into the final quarter, Danny Byrne’s side fought back but it wasn’t quite enough and Scorchers saw the game out.
The win moves Scorchers to a 16-12 record for the current season
