Surrey Scorchers are back at Surrey Sports Park for the second week running as Manchester Giants pay a visit to the South East.
Scorchers take on Giants this Sunday (2pm TO) in the British Basketball League Championship, hoping to gain their second win in as many games in 2019.
Both sides hold one victory over the other in the Championship so far this season, meaning Sunday’s contest will be an all-important head-to-head decider.
Giants are coming off the back of an emphatic win over DBL Sharks Sheffield, BBL MVP candidate Willie Clayton helping his side to overcome their opponents.
However, Scorchers should be more equipped to deal with Clayton following the signing of Morakinyo Williams; and the arrival of Anthony Elechi from the US.
Following their nail-biting win over London City Royals on New Year’s Day, the side are in good spirits and looking forward to performing in-front of another packed crowd.
