Jalen Billups top-scored for Rocks, with 19 points followed by Gareth Murray with 14.
Tayo Ogedengbe was Scorchers’ and the game’s top scorer with 24 points including three three-pointers.
A late surge meant Scorchers led 27-17 at the end of the first quarter with nine points from Ogedengbe.
Rocks came out strong in the second quarter and a lay up in the final moments from Billups gave the Glasgow side a narrow 46-44 lead at half-time.
A dominant performance in the third quarter from Rocks saw them score 32 points and ended the quarter leading 78-57.
Scorchers made a slight recovery in the final quarter but could not make a comeback as Kofi Josephs scored 2 free-throws with 20 seconds remaining to confirm the victory.
Scorchers now face a double header weekend including a trip to DBL Sharks in the BBL Cup Quarter-Final on Friday 3 Nov.
Back at Surrey Sports Park on 5 Nov, Scorchers will host Bristol Flyers in the BBL Championship.
