Surrey Scorchers were unable to deny Caledonia Gladiators the win in their opening night at the Play Sport Arena in Glasgow.
In yet another close encounter, Scorchers did however remain within touching distance during the whole game.
Andrew Lawrence was the stand out player for Lloyd Gardner’s side. The Olympian finished the night as the Scorchers’ top point scorer (19) and claimed 9 assists. Saiquan Jamison continue to dominate off the glass with 10 rebounds.
Surrey Scorchers have a quick turn around ahead of their next fixture against Cheshire Phoenix this Saturday, October 7th (5pm tip-off).
