Surrey Scorchers is delighted to announce the re-signing of Jordan Williams for the 2017/18 BBL season.
Williams originally signed for Scorchers in January 2016 a registered a 9.94 points per game and 7.69 rebounds per game average in the league in his first Scorchers season.
Re-signing for the 2016/17 season, the forward averaged 7.5 rebounds per game including 5.6 defensive rebounds per game and 7.4 points per game average.
Having spent the early part of this season in Germany with BG Eisbaeren, Coach Creon is excited to have Williams back at Surrey Sports Park.
Coach Creon has said that it is “Really exciting for Surrey fans to be getting a familiar face back in the huddle.
“I think he’ll help us big time in the paint where we’ve lacked a little bit of his defensive presence.
“All in all he understands everything we’re trying to do out here and what we’re running so I don’t see any problems in him settling in and getting back to the job we started last season.”
The team at Surrey Scorchers is working hard to ensure Williams is available for selection as soon as possible.
