Coach Creon- ‘No one remembers who got to the semi-final.'

This is the first time since the 08/09 season that a Surrey-based club has reached the semi-finals of the BBL Cup. However, speaking ahead of the game, Coach Creon stated that he wanted to go one further and said ‘No one remembers who got to the semi-finals… and now we're here we are aiming to win it’. He also pointed to the fan support and said that they will be a key factor if the team are going to achieve victory.

Glasgow, on the other hand, were runners up in the cup during the 14/15 season, but despite this, they have never won the competition. Given their strong start to this season, they will see this as the perfect opportunity to put that record straight.

Ones to watch

Surrey Scorchers
Quincy Taylor, Chaz Rollins and Will Neighbour all scored 20+ on the weekend. And Taylor, in particular, was in inspired form as he top scored with 24 points, and 4 Rebounds. This total and his overall performance earned him a place in the BBL Top 5 players of the week for the first time this season.

Glasgow Rocks
Top scorer Neil Watson will be a player to watch out for, the point guard has already scored 160 this season, and will be looking to continue his fine form. While Hayden Lescault isn’t too far behind on 143.
