Survived and advanced in the Trophy

Scorchers began the Trophy run against Bristol Flyers, a team to have only lost 2 games this season at home. An early spark from the home side saw Flyers jump out to a 17-point lead. A strong second quarter from Scorchers brought the game back to a 1-point differential heading into the locker room. Behind a dominant performance from Boban Jacdonmi Scorchers remained in control throughout the third and extended a 14-point gap. Although efforts from Flyers late in the game, the surrey side would continue to make plays down the stretch to advance into the 2nd round of the BBL Trophy.
