Scorchers fall short against a top of the table Lions squad. A huge first half from Lions Luke Nelson with an efficient 17 points in 15 minutes saw the away side lead by 6 points as the teams headed to the locker room. Despite a 18-point performance from Quincy Taylor the Lions proved to be too strong for the Surrey side taking a 67 – 88 victory.
