Surrey Scorchers are delighted to announce the signing of centre, Boban Jacdonmi.
The 6’9 centre joins Surrey Scorchers and is Head Coach Lloyd Gardners first new signing of the summer after two break out years with Glasgow Rocks.
The 25-year-old played a key piece in the Rocks play-off push last season averaging 7 points per game alongside 5 rebounds in 17 minutes of court time.
Prior to his first pro contract, the London native spent 4 years in the collegiate system finishing his last two at NCAA D1 Southern Mississippi.
Jacdonmi, ready to take on the challenge commented “I’m excited to be signing with the Scorchers. Coach Gardner has some good plans for the program and I’m excited to be a part of it!
“I’m really looking forward to just giving my all for the team and getting some wins playing in front of the Scorcher fans.”
Scorchers Head Coach Lloyd Gardner commented: “I’m delighted to be adding Boban to our squad. In my eyes he’s one of the best British big men in the BBL and I’m looking forward to him showing that this season.
“He will provide an inside presence for us at both ends of the floor and I believe he will be able to take a big step forward in his young professional career.”
