Surrey Scorchers have parted ways with Lovell Cook.
The 30-year-old joined the franchise in November 2019 and quickly became a fan favourite.
Averaging 19 points per game, Cook finished the 2019-2020 BBL Championship campaign as the league’s fourth leading scorer.
Head Coach Creon Raftopoulos said: “Lovell was a key player for us last season and was a big part of our plans for this year.
“Frustratingly things have not worked out on court as we had hoped.
“I would like to thank Lovell for his hard work and dedication to the club during his time with us, and wish him well for the future.”
