Surrey Scorchers 101 London Lions 95

Scorchers end the losing streak by defeating the London Lions at SSP!

Lovell Cook scored three consecutive baskets in the closing minutes to seal the deal for Creon’s team, and they held their nerve to get back to winning ways.

The London Lions raced out to a double-digit lead in the opening few minutes, before Scorchers clawed back to make it an eight-point game at the end of the quarter.

A fantastic second quarter, including some high-flying dunks from Uno Payne and Tookie Hawthorne flew the Scorchers into the lead at the half!

Ovie Soko and the Lions came back fighting in the third and took a one-point lead heading into the final period.

Lovell Cook took over in the final quarter, hitting three huge shots consecutively to seal the win in front of the home crowd.

A dunk from Tayo made it a 5-point game, and London failed to respond, sealing the win at long last for Creon’s team.

Scorchers pick up their 5th win of the BBL Championship campaign!
