Scorchers were well beaten in South Yorkshire as the Sheffield Sharks defeated Creon’s side 105-61.
British Rookie Evan Walshe was the only Scorcher in double-figures as he scored 15 points off the bench.
The home team wasted no time taking control of the game in the first quarter, racing out to a 22-13 lead after the first period.
Abita Lyons’ side continued to put their foot on the gas in the second period, and went into the break with a commanding 45-27 lead.
Creon Raftopoulos opted to go with the second unit for the majority of the third quarter, with an impressive display from rookie Evan Walshe – who scored ten straight points for the travelling team.
But the Sharks continued the offensive charge and extended their lead further heading into the final quarter.
The home team continued their impressive display in the final period, running away with a resounding 105-61 victory.
