Lions prove too strong for Scorchers

Surrey Scorchers and London Lions faced off at the Copper Box, the Scorchers put in a valiant effort in the first half. With Lawrence and Ray out, Kyle Carey stepped up and played the point guard position admirably. However, in the second half, Lions shifted into a higher gear and Scorchers were unable to keep up. Despite their best efforts, the visitors were unable to stay in the game, and thee game ended with a final score of 62 – 88 in favour of the London Lions.
