Surrey Scorchers is delighted to announce the signing of Levi Noel for the 2017/18 BBL season.
The 6’5” guard is Creon Raftopoulos’s 8th signing of the season represented Leicester Riders in the BBL and Loughborough Student Riders in the NBL division 1.
Spending four seasons with Leicester Riders, Noel won back-to-back BBL league titles as well as the BBL play-offs, two BBL trophies and a BBL cup.
Noel believes he can bring a winning mentality to Surrey Scorchers, he said, “At Leicester Riders they have a very successful team and I’ve learnt a bunch when I’ve been there.
“I feel as though what I’ve learnt I can bring to this team.
“As a team we look good. We have the different pieces you need to have a good team in this league so I’m excited to get started.”
Joining Scorchers was “a very easy decision” for Noel and coach Creon Raftopoulos was a huge part of that.
“I’ve known Creon for a long time, I’ve been following the club for a while so it’s perfect for me.
“He’s a real players coach, everyone that I’ve spoke to about him has positive things to say."

British Basketball All-Stars Championships
Fans will get their first chance to watch Levi in action next season when he hits the court for Scorchers at the British Basketball All-Stars Championships at The O2 Arena!
Discounted tickets for the tournament are available now for £20 adults, £15 juniors.
