Scorchers add newcomer Lamar Hamrick to 2021/22 Roster
The 22-year-old makes his professional debut in the British Basketball League after leaving a successful collegiate career finishing his senior year at Portland State
The dynamic Guard averaged 8.4 points, 3 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 18 minutes of court time. Hamrick also joins sharp shooter Stanley Davis Jr shooting above 40% from behind the arc in his previous season.
Prior to his time at Portland State Lamar Played his junior season at the University of Detroit Mercy. In only 16 minutes per game he average 5 points, 3 rebounds, 1 steal and an assist.
Lamar is not afraid of big performance and stepping up to the plate. During his junior career he led his high school team to a state championship with a huge 39 points and 15 rebounds.

“In all the colleges he played in he was one of the leaders in steals, with that defence and his ability to put the ball in the hoop as a shooter and a slasher he will be a great tool for the complete team we are trying to put together.”
