Scorchers sign Anderson

Surrey Scorchers are delighted to welcome US guard Mike Anderson to Surrey Sports Park.

The 6’4” former Washington Huskies man became the first ever 2015 NBA D-League pick for Raptors 905 and will bring a solid all-round ability to Scorchers for the remainder of this season.

Renowned for his defensive rebound capabilities, Anderson picked up a 6.2rpg average in his final year with the Huskies in the NCAA Division One, while posting 8.4ppg at the opposite end of the court and a 16 point game high.

Mike will join up with his Scorchers team mates this week and available for selection when Surrey travel to Leicester and Cheshire for this weekend’s BBL Championship double-header.
