Saturday’s home game against London Lions will see the formal launch of the Scorchers Basketball Foundation.
The Scorchers Basketball Foundation is the community arm of the Surrey Scorchers basketball franchise, with the main aim of growing inclusive basketball participation across the South East.
The Foundation runs projects for disadvantaged groups in Surrey, bringing people together and improving lives through basketball. Their first project will be running basketball sessions for students with physical and learning disabilities at a local college. These sessions will build confidence, develop social skills and aim to improve fitness.

– Direct donations, sponsorship of projects or volunteering with us
Speak to the trustees in the Foundation t-shirts (not the ones on the court!) if you have any ideas for a project or would like to help.
