Result: Surrey Scorchers 84-83 Manchester Giants

An absolute nail-biter of a game saw Surrey Scorchers secure their first home win of the season thanks to two free throws in the dying seconds of the fixture.

Manchester Giants tested Scorchers throughout the game, but the hosts pulled off two come-backs on the night to ensure that they made it two wins out of three to start the 2015/16 campaign.

Andreas Schreiber picked up a double-double with 22pts and 11rbs to lead all scorers on court in a fine performance from the Swedish-American power forward.
