Scorchers started strong against reigning BBL champions Newcastle Eagles, but a tough 2nd half held off the Surrey side in their home BBL debut.
Surrey started with a 10 point lead before Newcastle launched a mountainous comeback in the second half. Despite the support of the incredible fans, Scorchers struggled to gel against Newcastle's strong offence.
