Gerald Robinson kicked off the game with back-to-back three points, but the Riders showed why they are Champions, storming out to a 29-19 lead after ten minutes.
The second quarter was even with both teams trading baskets. Leicester were able to pull away late in the half and went into the break with a comfortable 53-37 lead.
Scorchers weren’t going down without a fight and troubled Leicester in the third quarter thanks to some tough defence and an impressive offensive spell from Tony Hicks and Alex Owumi.
