RAFTOPOULOS JOINS SCORCHERS

Surrey Scorchers is delighted to announce the signing of Caylin Raftopoulos for the 2017/18 BBL season.

The 24 year-old guard previously represented Surrey Heat in the 2012/13 season under Scorchers head coach and father Creon Raftopoulos.
 
Caylin spent the previous season with Team Solent Kestrels in National League Division 1 where he ended the season with a 9.3 PPG average.
 
Caylin believes it was an “easy decision” to join Scorchers.
 
“This season we won’t be looking to just scrape into the play-offs, we want to be a team that’s at least mid-table.”
 
He spent three years with Worcester Wolves, winning the BBL Championship alongside new Scorchers signing Alex Owumi.

British Basketball All-Stars Championships

Fans will get their first chance to watch Elias in action next season when he hits the court for Scorchers at the British Basketball All-Stars Championships at The O2 Arena!
