PREVIEW: GIANTS TEST FOR SCORCHERS

Surrey Scorchers travel to the Trafford Sportsdome tomorrow (Friday 30th March) looking to complete a clean sweep of wins against the Manchester Giants.

The last time Scorchers travelled the Manchester, Jordan Williams and Quincy Taylor helped inspire a 76-90 win.

This season, the two sides first faced off in November at Surrey Sports Park, where 20 points from both Alex Owumi and Tony Hicks helped give Scorchers a 95-70 win.

Giants visited Guildford once again, with 27 points from Gerald Robinson guiding Creon Raftopoulos’ side to a comfortable 109-88 victory.

Scorchers will be hoping to continue their red-hot form of recent months, which has seen nine wins in the last 12 outings.

Owumi will be hoping he completes his 1000th BBL Championship rebound, needing just two to hit the milestone

While Giants have struggled with just three wins all season, the performances of David Kadiri have been very promising.

The 23-year-old forward has averaged 17.64 points-per-game along with a number of stand-out performances, hitting 19 and 20 when facing Scorchers previously this season.
