After a stray arm caught Scorchers’ Levi Noel at Sunday’s BBL Championship game against the Plymouth Raiders, he was left with considerable pain in his mouth.
Thankfully, Dr Christian Metzner of Burneston Dental, one of the team's sponsors, was amongst the crowd at Surrey Sports Park and was on hand to assist.
“As soon as I saw the incident take place I knew it needed to be looked at.” Said Dr Metzner
who visited Noel in the dressing room on Sunday to assess Noel’s injury.
“After the initial evaluation in the dressing room post-game, we agreed that Levi would visit the practice at the soonest opportunity to ensure we could repair the damage quickly.”
Noel visited Burneston Dental’s practice on Epsom Road in Guildford the following day for treatment and after a swift appointment with Dr Metzner, Noel was delighted with the results.
“I couldn’t be happier with the service I got from Burneston Dental!” said Noel.
“I took a pretty scary hit to the mouth and without the prompt help of Christian Metzner I don’t know what would have happened.
“I’m very grateful.”
