A long trip up North to the Vertu Motors Arena saw the Scorchers come out slow in Newcastle. A huge 3rd quarter from the Eagles lead by a 31-point performance from David Cohn opened up too large of a margin for a Scorchers 4th Quarter come back. Despite winning the 4th 23 – 11 the surrey side were unable to steal the game in the final minutes.
