Surrey Scorchers are delighted to announce the signing of British Guard Luke Busumbru

Joining Jalen Ray in the backcourt Head Coach Lloyd Gardner gives the nod to Busumbru after a successful division 1 career with Solent Kestrels.

Ready to make the jump to BBL Busumbru commented “I am really excited to be joining the scorchers program. I had an amazing experience with Solent for the past 3 years, and now feel like I’m ready to make that next step.

I Got to work with Lloyd a little bit over the summer at the Hoopsfix Pro-Am and I can’t wait to get started and meet the guys on the team”.

Head Coach Gardner pleased with this signing commented “I’m delighted to be adding Luke to the roster. He is a player that has deserved the opportunity of moving into the BBL after a stellar few seasons in NBL division one with Solent.
