Loveridge leaves Scorchers

Surrey Scorchers can confirm that Jacob Loveridge has left the club.

Ever present in the Scorchers roster, Loveridge recorded minutes in the majority of BBL Championship games this season but was unable to break through to achieve regular court time within a competitive squad.

Jacob first signed for Surrey back in 2007 at the age of 14 and progressed from the junior set-up to make numerous BBL appearances before leaving for the US in 2011 to play for the Southern Maine Community College Sea Wolves.

Loveridge will now return to the Thames Valley Cavaliler, where he featured during the 2014/15 season.

This news follows the departure of US import DJ Felder earlier this week, with a new signing due ahead of Sunday’s home game with the Worcester Wolves.
