Scorchers fall to Patriots in overtime

The Surrey Scorchers took on the Plymouth Patriots in a thrilling basketball game that went down to the wire. Surrey Scorchers led for the majority of the game, thanks in large part to the hot shooting of Kyle Carey, who scored a whopping 27 points in just two quarters.

Despite Surrey’s lead, Plymouth remained within striking distance and made a late run to take the lead by three points with only nine seconds remaining. However, the Scorchers refused to go down without a fight, and Josh Steel stepped up to hit a clutch shot from behind the arc to tie the game and send it into overtime.

In overtime, the Plymouth Patriots took control of the game, making big shots down the stretch to secure a 105-95 victory over the Surrey Scorchers.
