Lekan re-signs for Scorchers

Surrey Scorchers is pleased to announce that Surrey basketball veteran Lekan Popoola has re-signed for the club.

The former Heat point guard linked up with Coach Creon at the start of Scorcher’s debut campaign in the BBL one year ago after spending three seasons with EBL division one side the Westminster Warriors.

Lekan played a vital role in the Surrey roster last season, making 15 appearances and providing endless experience off court in coaching and leadership.
