Scorchers took control in the second half thanks to an impressive scoring display through the roster. Despite having the lead in moment of the second, they trailed by five at the break.

The BBL Champions dominated the second half and a string of fouls against Scorchers allowed Leicester to build a lead. Levi Noel’s efforts on both ends could not slow down Bernadini and the Riders.

Leicester cruised to a comfortable 22-point victory to hand Scorchers their second defeat of the New Year.
Scorchers move to a 10-11 record in the BBL league table.
