Jordan Hunt Injury Update

Surrey Scorchers can confirm forward Jordan Hunt sustained a fracture to the fibula bone of his left leg during the BBL trophy group game v Sheffield Sharks on the 6th January.

Jordan was assessed by a team of specialists at Royal Surrey hospital shortly after the incident and has subsequently undergone procedures to fix the injury.
Jordan will now begin his rehabilitation with the club’s medical team the length of which is unknown.

The New Zealand international signed for the Scorchers in August 2023 and has gone on to average 8.3 points and 4 rebounds in 20 games this season.

Surrey Scorchers are fully committed to supporting Jordan through his rehab and return to the basketball court.
