ALL-STARS 66-73 BRADLEY

Bradley University defeated the Surrey Scorchers All-Stars Select 66-73 at Surrey Sports Park.

The Bradley Braves opened up a 7-0 lead early on in the game and led 22-12 at the end of the first quarter.

Scorchers started to warm up in the second quarter as the likes of Tayo Ogedengbe and former Scorcher Mike Ochereobia got on the scoreboard.

Despite some strong performances from the All-Stars, Bradley were still in control as they led 43-23 at the half-time interval.

Then came an incredible third quarter as a hard-fought Scorchers performance closed the defecit.

Josh Steel put in strong work on the floor before Tayo Ogedengbe and Martelle Mclemore linked up for some impressive plays.

The All-Star select which was coached by Caylin Raftopoulos for the evening, went into the final quarter trailing by just five points.

It was just a 3-point game heading into the final 60 seconds of the game but it was the Braves who saw out the victory.
