A narrow home defeat to Gladiators

In an exciting game at Surrey Sports Park, the Surrey Scorchers took on the Caledonia Gladiators. The Scorchers were dominant for the majority of the game, with firm control over the game. However, the momentum shifted in the final few minutes, as the home side lost control after a few poor possessions. Despite their best efforts, the Scorchers were unable to claw back the lead and ultimately lost the game 81-84. It was another narrow defeat for the Scorchers, who will be looking to bounce back after a weekend off due to the BBL Trophy finals.
