A dominant home performance lost in the final minutes

Scorchers returned home to welcome Newcastle Eagles. As both teams are extremely hungry for some points on the league table we saw a dog fight of a game. Scorchers controlled the game leading throughout, but some huge possessions down the stretch saw Eagles steal it in the final minutes taking a 86 – 88 win on the road.
