Ross-Miller scoops season awards

Scorchers point guard KC Ross-Miller picked up a trio of club awards at Sunday’s post-season event at Surrey Sports Park.

The US import secured the Fans’ Player, Coach’s Player and Captain’s Player of the Season awards, marking the end a season which saw KC make a huge mark of the league with his high point scoring and strong ability to create point-scoring plays against tough opposition.

Fans voted Elvisi Dusha and Tayo Ogedengbe 2nd and 3rd respectively, with less than 1% between each player.

Over 100 fans were present for the announcement on Sunday evening, which also saw Franchise Director Gavin Baker talk about Scorchers’ debut season in the BBL and Coach Creon add his thoughts on the team’s progress and future in the league.

Watch Ross-Miller’s interview below as she talks about his award haul plus looks back over his season with Surrey.
