Surrey Scorchers ask all supporters to help us launch another exciting season at the Sports Park Arena as we prepare to host Worcester Wolves this Saturday, 28 September.
The game has been designated Fan Appreciation Day, and Scorchers are asking supporters to wear their colours across Guildford and surrounding areas in the build-up to opening night!

We want your photos of local landmarks, streets, houses and offices decked out in team colours, and will share the best on this website and across our social media channels.
All fans are also encouraged to wear their colours with pride to the game itself, as we create a blackout to welcome your Scorchers players onto court.
As we enter Scorchers’ fifth season in the BBL – and commemorate the start of the 15thseason of professional basketball in Guildford – we are also inviting the first ever nominations to the Scorchers Fans’ Hall of Fame! Is there one Scorchers fan who travels the length and breadth of the country every week, goes above and beyond in their support of the team, or has made a major impact on the team down the years? Email your nomination, including a name and the reasons why they should be inducted, to media@surreyscorchers.co.uk. The first batch of inductees will be honoured before tip-off on Saturday 28 September and featured on a dedicated new page on the Scorchers website.
We also invite all supporters to tell us why you support the Scorchers and how it feels to be an invaluable part of Creon’s team. Either write a few words or record a short video to share on social media, tagging Surrey Scorchers in your post, or email them to us. We will share the best videos, and any written submissions will be read out by a Scorchers player as part of a special video to launch the new season.
