Surrey Scorchers are on the road again this weekend as they take on Manchester Giants in the British Basketball Championship on Sunday 25th November (5 pm TO).
This will be the third time in the season that the two sides have met, both claiming one victory each over the other.
Both teams hold just two wins in the 2018/19 BBL Championship, Scorchers are currently sitting 9th in the table with Giants just ahead in 8th.
Scorchers will take confidence from their last visit to the Trafford Sportsdome, which resulted in a 93-109 triumph and the side’s first win of the Championship season.
However, having been outdone 75-92 at home in the BBL Cup in October, Head Coach Creon Raftopoulos will be wary of taking the Giants lightly.
Surrey will be looking to contain Giants star Willie Clayton, who put up an astonishing 23 points and 25 rebounds last time the sides met.
Boosted by the arrival of Kalil Irving, alongside the return of Jordan Williams from injury, Scorchers will be hoping to secure their third Championship win this season.
