Surrey Scorchers 79 Glasgow Rocks 95

Scorchers were beaten by an impressive Glasgow Rocks team at SSP.

The Rocks came into town and proved why they sit 2nd in the BBL with a professional performance.

Captain Tayo Ogedengbe led the way with 17 points, while Matthew Bryan-Amaning and Skyler White scored 16 each.

It was Glasgow who took control of the game in the opening quarter, running away to a commanding 34-21 lead.

They continued to control the game in the second quarter, and had a double-digit lead at the break.

MBA and Skyler White took control for the Scorchers in the third quarter, winning the period by five points.

But Glasgow rallied and secure the comfortable 95-79 win on the road – handing Scorchers their fifth straight loss in the BBL Championship.

Scorchers now have a two-week break before we take on the Newcastle Eagles on the road.

We are back at SSP on Saturday 7th March, as the London Lions, headlined by Ovie Soko, head into town.
