Scorchers extended their unbeaten home record to five games with a 109-88 win against the Manchester Giants in front of a sold-out crowd at Surrey Sports Park.
The Giants led going into half-time, but Scorchers battled back to take control of the game in the second half and cruise to victory.
Tony Hicks and Gerald Robinson combined for 50 points to carry the home side to yet another win at Surrey Sports Park.
Jordan Williams added 11 points and seven offensive rebounds in his return from injury.
The first quarter was even with both teams getting on the scoresheet early. Gerald Robinson and Tayo Ogedengbe led the charge for the Scorchers.
Manchester took control in the second quarter however and entered the half-time interval with a seven-point lead..
Scorchers didn’t lie down and came out fighting in the third quarter behind a resurgent display from Tony Hicks. A three-pointer from Levi Noel sealed the lead for the home side going into the fourth quarter.
They didn’t look back in the fourth quarter as back-to-back threes from Caylin Raftopoulos extended Surrey’s lead to seven points.
Scorchers ran away to a comfortable 21-point victory to move to an 11-11 record after 22 games with the crowd bringing the team home in full voice.
