Surrey Scorchers are delighted to confirm 20 Surrey Sports Park staff members will attend Saturday’s game against Cheshire Phoenix – as we step up our preparations for fans to return.
We are working hard behind-the-scenes to create a safe environment for our fans, staff and players.
Scorchers are working closely with the Operations and Health & Safety departments at Surrey Sports Park to minimise any risk and ensure our game days do not interfere with other areas of the building.
In order to test our new processes, we have invited 20 Surrey Sports Park staff to come along and watch our game against Cheshire Phoenix on Saturday night.
We have specifically chosen staff members to pilot the new processes because they have received Covid-19 protocol training at Surrey Sports Park.
We will update you further following the pilot event on Saturday, and we will continue to work towards bringing our fans back in the not-too-distant future.
