Surrey Scorchers is delighted to announce the signing of Josh Steel for the 2017/18 BBL season.
This will be Steel’s first season as a professional after he represented Great Britain Under 20’s this summer in the European Championships.
Steel said, “It’s an organisation that seems to be heading in the right direction and be able to give me a good opportunity to make a name for myself.”
Scorchers start the 2017/18 BBL season with 4 away games and Steel believes this is a great opportunity for the team to prove themselves.
“Great teams always need to be able to win away games so I think it’s a good challenge for us.
“So if we can get 4 away games under our belt right away, it proves what kind of team we can be going forward.”
