Surrey Scorchers is delighted to announce the signing of Darryl Palmer for the 2017/18 season.
The 24-year-old Power Forward was born in Summerville, South Carolina and most recently represented Vllaznia in Albania.
Palmer spent four seasons at South Carolina State where he played alongside former Scorcher Gabe McCray.
Standing tall at 6’8”, he averaged 7.31 ppg and 6.31 total rebounds during his time at South Carolina
“I’m excited to work hard, I’m just ready to go.” said Palmer.
“We got a big one ahead of us this season, we got a good team – a new team, a new season, unfinished business.
“Captain Tayo, I hope you’re ready, rest of the teammates I hope you’re ready, because I’m ready.”

British Basketball All-Stars Championships
Fans will get their first chance to watch Darryl in action next season when he hits the court for Scorchers at the British Basketball All-Stars Championships at The O2 Arena!
Discounted tickets for the tournament are available now for £20 adults, £15 juniors.
