Surrey Scorchers is delighted to announce the signing of Tony Hicks for the 2017/18 BBL season.
The 23-year-old guard represented the Louisville Cardinals during the 2016/17 season and will make his BBL debut for the Scorchers.
Hicks joined the Louisville Cardinals after spending 3 years with the Penn Quakers where he made his way into the Top 10 all-time scorers.
With a hometown of South Holland, Illinois, the US import is “really excited to get out for a great season.”
“I’ve heard nothing but great things from the fans and the community.” Hicks said.
Totalling 1,060 career points in three seasons with the Quakers, he led scoring as a sophomore and junior.
Hicks also earned All-Ivy League honourable mention honours during his freshman and junior years.

British Basketball All-Stars Championships
Fans will get their first chance to watch Tony in action next season when he hits the court for Scorchers at the British Basketball All-Stars Championships at The O2 Arena!
Discounted tickets for the tournament are available now for £20 adults, £15 juniors.
