Scorchers release White and Flanigan

It is with regret Scorchers confirm we have released forward Marcus White and point guard Chavares Flanigan.

We would like to thank them for their contributions to the team and the community. We wish them all the best for the future.

Head Coach Creon Raftopoulos said: “We set ourselves a target of reaching at least the quarter-finals of the BBL Cup.

“After falling short of that goal with a 3-7 record we have made the decision to make some changes to strengthen our roster heading into the start of the league championship.

“We would like to thank Chavares and Marcus for their professionalism in their time with us and wish them all the best with their next clubs.

“We will aim to announce new signings by early next week.”

We are currently working on replacements, and we plan to update our fans as soon as possible.
