Ryan Richards – update

Head Coach Creon Raftopoulos today confirms Scorchers are in talks with Center Ryan Richards regarding a contract extension.

The 6’11 Brit has completed his short-term deal with the team, but Creon is hoping to keep him at SSP.

Richards was brought back to Scorchers to provide cover for the injured Sol Rolls-Tyson, and he marked his return to Scorchers with a 19-point effort against the London City Royals.

He was also instrumental in our victory against the Plymouth Raiders.

Unfortunately Ryan suffered an injury during our game at the Copper Box against the London Lions, which was his final appearance for the team.
