Scorchers will be hoping to make it 2 wins in a row after picking up their first victory in 5 matches over Bristol Flyers last week.
When: Tonight, tip-off 19:30
Where: Surrey Sports Park
Back-to-Back wins?
The win moved Surrey up into 9th position in the table just 1 place outside the play-offs and another over Cheshire will boost their end of season hopes. Going into the game Scorchers will be full of confidence having already beating Phoenix 67-61 earlier this season, ending a run of 3 straight defeats to them.
Cheshire themselves will be hoping to make the play-offs and sit just one place below Surrey in the table having played 6 games less. Although, they’ll be hoping to overturn a run of 1 win in their last 5 which has seen them slip down the league.
Ones to watch:
Surrey Scorchers
Top scorer Will Neighbour smashed 200 points for the season last weekend, and fans will be excited to see him play this game after he scored 19 last time out against Phoenix.
Omotayo Ogedengbe (Tayo) is another to keep an eye on. The Scorchers captain has been in fine form in recent weeks, managing to score 14 in the victory against Bristol, and he will be looking to repeat that in this game.
Cheshire Phoenix
Earl Brown is Phoenix's top scorer so far this season with 138 from 8 matches played while Joshua Wilcher isn’t too far behind on 122 and both will be players to look out for.
