Tony Hicks and Cameron Hildreth took control for Scorchers in the second quarter with some impressive offence, reducing the Manchester lead to one point heading into the half.

Hicks led the way for Surrey with 17 points at the break, while McLemore added 11.

The third quarter was a battle of the big men as Breaon Brady and Ryan Richards traded blows.

Hildreth and Rickman linked up multiple times in the final period as Surrey pulled away to a double-digit lead.

Manchester left themselves with too much to do as Surrey won the game 93-86 on the road.
